There's no denying that finding a unique baby name is getting harder and harder as time goes on.
However, some parents are taking this into their own hands, and using more 'traditional' names, but with totally outlandish spellings. Recently, a woman took to Reddit to share that her colleague had decided to name her baby girl Gabreighelle Courtlin, rather than Gabrielle Courtney. Some were left so shocked at the spelling, saying that the name had been "gentrified" with this spelling.
Some spellings have become so unusual, that a meme was posted about it in a baby name forum, and one woman wrote: "People naming kids these days". The popular meme format, which shows Drake ignoring something, and then embracing it underneath, showed him ignoring the spellings 'Jacob or Jakob', and instead embracing 'J'Eighkoughb' as a unique moniker.

In the comments, people were mortified at the spelling of Jacob, but acknowledged that many parents do name their little ones in order to stand out.
One wrote: "As a Jacob, I have a distinct memory of being in middle school science class with 2 other Jacobs and a Jakob. We made it work and all went by our last names. I’m pretty sure we’d offer an emergency blanket and a cup of cocoa to some kid named J’Eighkoughb".
Another joked: "JayKub", with someone else suggesting: "J83." "How are kids going to learn how to read if their own names don’t make sense?", one Redditor questioned.
Other comments included: "Tony could be spelt Ptoughneigh", "Dj'eighqckaoughbf", "Ðǰ̣æïgʻĥçqűəãųɓẹ", "Juh-ay-cough-buh", and "I knew a Jaekeb in high school".
Some said "It's scary" regarding the lengths parents will go to in order to secure a unique name for their child.
